Feedback From a NON-SUPPORTER and MY RESPONSE!
Their Comment:

Interesting!

And pray tell just how do you pray away the gay for those gays who "look" gay; prayer does not change one's physical appearance! If one looks gay, then they probably are!

My Response:

Whenever one see a feminine man, some (not all) tend to think he is gay.  Whenever one sees a woman who has masculine tendencies, they perhaps are inclined to think she is a lesbian.  However, this should NOT be the case.  I know men who are feminine in their mannerisms but who are very "straight" in their sexuality.  They are simply different.  God created us all to be different and unique.  I know women who are more "manly" in appearance but who are as "straight" in their sexuality.  Yes, there is a flip side of this scenario as well.  There are some very masculine men who are extremely gay in their sexuality.  This goes for the same in women who are very feminine but are lesbian.  I think that perhaps one reason why a man can be more feminine and a women can be more masculine can be due to their environmental influences.  Perhaps he/she had more of an influence from the opposite gender parent than from the same gender parent.  Studies show that we (as children) pattern ourselves after those we closely associate ourselves with.  So, next time one is tempted to judge another on their appearance, let me remind you of what Christ says, "Do not judge, or you too will be judged.  For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."Matthew 7:1-2 NIV

Comment From Times Free Press Article #1
Hi, Chris, It was good to see the article in today's paper. The writer did make an effort to be fair and balanced, which we can appreciate. She did a pretty good job of presenting you and what you're saying. One thing that bothered me was the quote from the man who confidently asserted that we "know" there's a genetic component. But that's far from being established, isn't it? That claim is rather what many people want so much to believe.  It was both predictable and frustrating to see some of the responses to the online version from people who merely assume that "science" has validated what they desire.  I hope you're doing okay, with all the venom likely being sent your way.  Will you update your blog with how you are in reference to the attack you mentioned in November? Since you referred to that difficulty, it would be good to know if you're all right. Thanks.

Chris, great job on this article! I posted a comment there under the username standingfortruth and I voted to disagree and suggested the removal of some of the negative comments there.  I wanted to do something to show you my support!

Chris, Just read the recent press regarding your ministry and wanted to commend you for your courage and leadership in this vital ministry! Stand Firm and Press On. Don't be afraid to speak truth IN LOVE! Remember Christ did not come to bring peace but to bring a sword (TRUTH).  While it will likely be very difficult, I beleive this will be a great opportunity to magnify the love of Christ. I for one will be praying for you for strength, wisdom and grace to withstand and combat the impending onslaught from the "powers and principalities".

I just read your good report on http://www.virtueonline.org/portal/modules/news/article.php?storyid=9653  and since it mentioned your predictable persecution by sad hypocritical detractors I felt obliged as a brother in Christ Jesus The Lord to try to give you an "attaway" encouragement for your great life and testimony as a trophy of God's grace, praying and knowing God will keep you richly abiding in Him (John 14 & 15) by His grace through faith not of yourself, the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8).  Frankly a guy as handsome as you being with another guy instead of a gal is really a horrible crime against humanity, especially women and kids who so terribly need such wonderful men in our manifestly ungodly, unmanly sick society of infantile narcissists (regardless of which sex they lust for, same-sex narcissism really being a resulting manifestation of opposite sex narcissism that destroyed God's ordained protective channel of marriage and family to pave the way for the counterfeit) against which your godly excellence in selfless service is a profound shining witness like your Lord!  Russ

Chris,
I just read the article and some of the comments from the Chatt Times. I believe that you were prepared for the attacks but I just felt lead to tell you that I love you, your family, and your ministry. I think you are doing great things for lost, broken, and deceived men and women all to bring glory to God. I thank you and praise God for you and your ministry.... Chris right now in the name of Jesus I declare over you, your family, and your ministry that persecution and affliction shall only make you stronger in the Lord's work and that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. Isaiah 54:17   Michael

My Son's Birthday
Hello everyone.  Just wanted to say hello and give you an update as to what has been going on lately.  We celebrated my son's third birthday on Monday January 5.  Cannot believe he is 3 years old already.  I vividly remember the day he was born and I held him in my arms for the very first time.  He is such a blessing.  He's also a beautiful boy - on the outside and inside.

Pray for donors
Please pray for donors to support this ministry financially.  It's a very hard time for a lot of people but in order for this ministry to continue, we must be financially supported in a greater way.  Some people have stopped supporting us due to job loss or retirement.  This has hit us very hard because we count on every dime that comes in to keep our doors open.  It seems hopeless at this point if I continue listening to the bad news about the economy but I have faith in God that His people will be provided for - even through very difficult financial times.  God is greater than our economy.  So, please pray for an increase in provision.  It's in my heart to work full time but the finances are simply not there.  I've believed the Lord for this provision well over 12 years.  The Lord tells us that we will inherit the promise if we faint not so I'm working on not fainting at this point-ha,ha,ha...Laughing

For those who have supported us in the past, thank you.  For those of you who continue supporting us, thank you too.  I love you all deeply and know that we are called to labor together to bring millions to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.  I have such a great vision for this ministry but am limited so greatly by the lack of finances.  May the Lord bless you.

Holiday's
Hey everyone.  Hope all of you had a blessed Christmas and a New Year.  My family had a good Christmas.  It seems as if we party from Thanksgiving to February.  My two children's birthdays are in January and February.  By the end of February we are all ready to move out of the "celebration" faze.  It's all good though.  We are blessed to have such a great family.
